Filming
Within the M25 and only half an hour from Central London, Springfield Farm is a very convenient, accessible shoot location when looking to shoot “in the sticks” whilst as close to London as possible.
Our field here is a blank canvas, located in the leafy city of St Albans. Close by are train links leading straight into London and both the M25 and M1 are only a short 5 minutes drive.
Our venue is set within a beautifully maintained landscape, surrounded by mature trees and over 300 acres of unspoiled countryside, making it the ideal choice for anyone seeking an exclusive venue in Hertfordshire. With no residential properties nearby, you can enjoy complete privacy and tranquility for your special occasion.
The estate itself covers 10 private acres, offering plenty of space for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. Guests benefit from ample onsite parking and convenient fresh water facilities, ensuring comfort throughout the day.
The venue also provides indoor and outdoor seating for up to 90 people, with lighting covering both areas to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for weddings, private parties, and corporate events.
We pride ourselves on being an exclusive countryside events venue because we only host a limited number of functions each year, ensuring every wedding, party, or gathering feels unique and personalised.
For those who wish to extend their experience, we also offer camping in Hertfordshire.
Closing time for events are restricted to a 11 pm, however, this is flexible if you are using silent headphones.
The prices listed below for the LAND hire ONLY and these are approx figures:
(marquees, production, toilets, electrics, water, security, skips and clean up is not included)
- Small Birthday party (STARTING from groups of 20 upto 70) for 2 to 5 hours with no set up required - i.e no marquee structures, sound systems etc - from £500 to £800
- Weddings, Corporate events, Bar Mitzvah, Party (based on approx 100 or less people attending) where you are using our bar - from £3,500 land hire fee which also allows you 1 day before for setting up, the day of the event and a further day for take down and hand back. For each extra day a further £500 is chargeable.
- DRY HIRE - An event without our bar and based on approx 100 people attending - £6000 land hire fee , which also allows you 2 day before for setting up, the day of the event and a further day for take down and hand back
